Fair Usage Policy

Our internet service is shared by thousands of customers. This policy explains how we keep it fast and fair for everyone, and what the figures on each plan mean.

1. The figures on each plan

• Real speed (for example 5/5 Mbps) is the download and upload speed of your line at all times.
• Up to (for example 50 Mbps) is the top speed your line can reach.
• FUP (fair usage, for example 12 GB) is the amount of data you can use at up to speed.
• Monthly volume is the total data included in your plan each month: unlimited, or a set amount such as 90 GB.

2. How fair usage works

You can use your plan's FUP amount at up to speed. Once it is used, your connection continues at your plan's real speed until the FUP amount resets. Your service is not cut off when the FUP amount is used.

3. Volume plans

Volume plans include a set amount of data each month. If you regularly reach your monthly volume, you can move to a larger or unlimited plan between months. Contact our support team on +961 3 851 519.

4. Unlimited plans

Unlimited plans have no monthly volume limit. They are intended for normal home or business use by the subscriber. Reselling or sharing the connection outside your home or premises is not allowed unless agreed in writing with Mnets.

5. Protecting the network

We may take reasonable steps to protect the network and other customers, for example when a connection is used for attacks, spam or activity that harms the service of others. Where possible, we will contact you first.
